PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
ABOUT ME
I am a mechanical engineering student with a deep fascination for precision motion systems and high-performance design.
My approach to engineering is shaped by my life outside the classroom: the exact discipline required to master the cello and the competitive drive of an athlete.
Whether calibrating a complex mechanism, perfecting a musical phrasing, or pushing past a physical limit, I thrive on precision, rhythm, and relentless execution. I aim to leverage this unique combination of analytical rigor and creative focus to build next-generation motion technologies.

AND GOALS
ARGONNE NATIONAL LABORATORIES
I had the privilege of being selected for the highly competitive Argonne National Laboratory undergraduate internship program for two consecutive terms in the summers of 2025 and 2026. Notably, during my 2026 tenure, my performance and contributions led to an official extension of my internship beyond the standard program duration. Participating in this prestigious program was an honor, and the experience greatly advanced my professional growth.
GRADUATION SPEAKER STUDENT
In delivering the senior speech to the Barrington High School Class of 2024 Thursday, fellow grad Tyler Thymian spoke of taking hardships – like the injury the teen experienced that impacted participating in sports and music – and using them to persevere. “That was all I could do,” Thymian said during the commencement ceremony held at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington. “That is all that any of us can do.”
Syzygy Plasmonics
PHOTONIC CHEMISTRY
During the summer of 2024, I completed my first professional internship at Syzygy Plasmonics, a technology company decarbonizing chemical production through proprietary light-driven reactors.
This pivotal experience broadened my perspective on the engineering field and solidified my passion for pursuing a career in mechanical engineering.
BUSINESS OWNER ENTREPRENEUR
OUT in the Summer started from the idea that young people need a place to connect and make friends. As a young entrepreneur, I created this event business to provide safe, energetic spaces where teens can be themselves. In today's digital world,

it's tough to find real social environments, so OUT in the Summer brings young people together with live experiences. Every event is designed for youth to build community, create memories, and find a sense of belonging.

EYSO is for everyone. For instrumentalists from 4th grade to college, playing for 2 years or 12, EYSO aims to find a place for each student to grow in one of our five orchestras, specialty ensembles, and the one-of-a-kind Chamber Music Institute. When you join EYSO, you join a community of like-minded musicians ready to take on complex ideas, take creative risks, and to become leaders here and throughout your life. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Matthew Sheppard, the students of EYSO explore a comprehensive curriculum each season—one which aims not only to help you to develop artistically and technically, but to grow into well-rounded and thoughtful communicators and leaders in your sections, ensembles, schools, and communities.
